Local chemical company Anachem had developed a unique solution that dramatically reduced slips and falls in public spaces. The existing process to treat tiled surfaces involved etching the surface of the tile with acid. This was not only costly and time consuming but also affected the look of the tile and allowed more dirt to easily adhere to the surface of the tile.
Anachem's patented technology was the creation of a solution whose molecules sat on the surface of the tile and trapped water. This meant that allthough the tile was wet it still retained its grip.
We created and registered the brand as Science Friction.
